At Satori Jujitsu, we are building something special. Our athletes train side by side, pushing each other, supporting each other, and proving that with the right mindset and hard work, incredible things can happen. This year, four of our team will step onto the European stage representing Wales Jujitsu and Great Britain Jujitsu—a huge milestone for our academy and our community.
One of those athletes is Cayle Price, who has emerged as a future prospect for both Wales and GB. Cayle’s improvement over the past months has been phenomenal. His skill level and attitude are second to none, and he has shown what can be achieved when you turn up, listen to your coaches, and work your butt off every single session.
Cayle isn’t a “natural”—to say that would undervalue the hours of dedication he puts in. He never misses a class, he trains with intent, and he has the will to become a champion. His progress is the result of consistency, effort, and a mindset built around growth.
This October, Cayle will take the next step when he represents Satori Jujitsu, Wales, and Great Britain at the European Championships in Beveren Belgium. He’ll compete in a stacked division of 22 of Europe’s best athletes, each battling for the top spot. It will also be his first ranking competition, with valuable points on the line towards his official world ranking in the Ju Jitsu International Federation (JJIF).
Whether the result is gold or valuable lessons learned, the experience will shape his journey as an athlete.
We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Peter Lynn and Partners for their generous donation towards our journey. Their support has helped make it possible for our athletes to travel to Belgium and represent their club, country, and Great Britain on the European stage.
Cayle—we are proud of everything you’ve achieved so far. You’ve earned this shot, and as a club, as coaches, and as teammates, we’ll be with you every step of the way.
From Satori Jujitsu Member, to Welsh Jits Sgwad, to GB Athlete—this is only the beginning.
